What is the cost?
Share cost is based on
household income. Upper income members pay more to subsidize shares of folks who cannot afford to pay as much. Members are encouraged to pay upfront to provide a stable, financial base for the farm.
There are 2 share types. Full shares are picked up every week during the season. Half-shares are picked up every other week during the season.
There are several payment options: you may pay all at once, in installments or with food stamps. Those NOT paying with food stamps MUST be paid in full by June 1.

Fruit, Eggs and Meat
In 2008, Bed-Stuy CSA members who purchased a half- or full-share of vegetables from Conuco Farm were able to purchase local fruit, eggs and hormone-free meat through the Bed-Stuy CSA. We hope to continue providing these additional share options in 2009.
How to Pay with Food Stamps
1. When you sign-up, you pay a $20.00 deposit in cash, check or money order.
2. Starting June 1, 2008, 2 weeks worth of payments will be deducted from your EBT card ($20 for half-share; $35 for full-share) every other week until the end of the harvest season (10 payments).
